One of the first books I read when starting out in business, was Rich Dad Poor Dad. Then, a year or 2 later Millionaire Mind by T Harv Eker.

They really helped me to understand some of the mindset and business principles that helped me get to where I am today.

Highly recommended.

Simple is Better

So in this post I am going to ask you a question  and a simple concept to think about.

Raise your hand if you’ve spent too much time…

Deciding which Shopify or Blog Etc theme to use…

Or debating if your color selection is really the best choice you could have made.

When you love what you do, you always try to perfect it.

But this doesn’t come risk-free – especially when you’re juggling too many things at once.

Some people try to implement every little thing she found online to improve her conversions…

With little to no results.

It was clear that reducing complexity was the path she needed to take.

Because if I could only teach you one thing about marketing,

It would be that a confused mind never buys.

Clarity = conversion.

And Lisa’s case was no exception.

Once you removed all the unneeded bells and whistles from your page, blog or store…

And focussed on fixing one thing at a time…

Your  Her conversion rate will explode ðŸ›’

The problem we face today is…

That the number of opportunities we get presented is endless.

That’s why focus and clarity are 2 of the most important skills in this day and age.

The reason successful people who apply this and their conversion rate went through the roof is…

💡 Everything they does is now so simple that everyone gets it in an instant.

I hope you take this advice and apply it ASAP.

Because only a few entrepreneurs actually live by that rule.

And if you feel like you don’t see the forest for the trees and don’t know where to start…

5 ways
to be time efficient while posting on social media

Here are five ways to be time efficient while posting on social media:

1.Create a content calendar: Plan and schedule your posts in advance so that you don't have to constantly come up with new ideas every day

2.Use social media management tools: There are many tools available that can help you manage multiple social media accounts at once, schedule posts, and track engagement.

3.Repurpose content: Instead of creating entirely new content for each platform, consider repurposing existing content, such as turning a blog post into a social media graphic.

4.Focus on quality over quantity: Don't feel like you need to post every day on every platform. Instead, focus on creating high-quality content that resonates with your audience.

5. Set aside dedicated time for social media: Instead of constantly checking your social media throughout the day, set aside specific times to check and engage with your audience. This can help you stay focused and avoid distractions.

There are lots more but they are just 5 that worked for me and helped to to run a more time efficient business.

Why don't most new startup online businesses work?

Why don't most new startup online businesses work?

Well for me it's simple ,the same reason a lot of other new businesses don't work - people just give up too soon. What do I mean by that?.... I'll explain below.

When I started my property business for example, I bought my first house in 2004 and saw no increase in value - in fact, a drop in value and no real monthly profit from rent - fast forward 18 years and it's paid for itself 5/6 times over - almost doubled in value and pays me £500 a month and this growth has allowed me to buy several more houses - some much more savvy buys and creative management -  which were a lot more profitable a lot quicker, once I had the knowledge and experience. Of course, it helps when the economy circumstances are in your favour, but even in a crash, overtime, this came good and lead to much better things.

I ended up with a portfolio of £1.5 Million which gives me a great income for about 1 days' work a month max - but that certainly didn't come overnight - I had to keep a job while building and learning.

My clothing brand - I invested £30,000 and didn't see one penny of wages for 2 years, and had a lot of learning curves, expenses and blows whilst building my knowledge, skills, experience.

This business started up as nothing... 2 years later - I have another great income.

Now with 2 good incomes in industries I know very well - this allowed me to start my online business,  which again ...started small with no income and grew from there.

For someone reading this - this is why starting small and gradually building something up while still in your 9-5 job for example is far more realistic than quitting more and building a great business overnight.

It takes time to learn new skills - let alone get good at them - especially if you hope to have something that pays good money for not a great deal of time.... Compare it to going to Uni - 3/4 years of learning and debt before going in at the bottom. A first-year student could really be a consultant straight away, they don't know the foundations let alone the job - let alone being a manager...... or a consultant.

My advice from real life experience is:

Remember nothing worth doing is easy and if it could be done overnight, everyone would be doing it!

Take your time, learn from people with real success stories, don't be afraid to invest some money or time into yourself, be patient, never stop growing and for goodness' sake - DON'T GIVE UP!!!!.

I do hope you found this short article a useful small insight into what possible but a bit about what it takes .... anyone can do it if they have the right mindset!

If you would like to learn more about the above, please feel free to reach out.

All the best

Steve

How to Maintain Business Momentum

When building a new business, you're under immense pressure. You have so much to do and expectations are high, both from yourself and from the people around you.

This means that you need to set goals to track your progress, maintain your motivation and keep yourself accountable.

But doing so can be risky.

This is because if your goals are too big, they can crush you under the weight of unrealistic expectations. And this may defeat the purpose of having a goal to begin with.

However, like many things in life, there's a trick to this. And not all goals are equal. The secret lies in setting a goal that will motivate versus one which will defeat you.

Are you in this position?

One where you keep agonizing over what you have done and if you have achieved enough? Are you struggling to maintain your entrepreneurial momentum?

Setting the Right Goals

Setting goals is important in maintaining entrepreneurial momentum. But setting the wrong goals and having the wrong vision can lead to demotivation and stagnant progress.

This is the opposite of what goal-setting is supposed to achieve. So, setting effective goals in the early days is the foundation of building a successful business.

Set goals that relate to building your business. For instance, ask yourself, "What do I need to do to build a successful business?"

Vision is the key energy that drives entrepreneurship. It's what makes entrepreneurs dare to explore, dare to insist, dare to challenge, dare to keep moving forward, and dare to have the determination to succeed.

Having a Clear Vision

Successful entrepreneurs have achieved their goals and purpose by having a clear and strong vision and pursuing it with passion. So, to maintain your entrepreneurial momentum, have a clear, ambitious and challenging vision.

Great and successful entrepreneurs persevere and they remain engaged with their business no matter what happens. Having a vision and staying focused on it will help you keep a grip on your business and stay connected to your audience.

But, maintaining entrepreneurial momentum is not about defining and pursuing a vision. It's about being able to implement your vision, formulating it into something tangible, and sharing it. It's crucial to imprint the same energy, passion, dedication and drive to a wider audience and team.

Spreading your vision across the whole company translates it into a culture, because an unshared vision which doesn't echo to other people is not a vision. A vision should be believed, nurtured, and pursued for it to become a lighthouse that builds momentum.

Being a business owner or entrepreneur can be overwhelming and exhausting. So how do some people seem to thrive and achieve their goals and dreams while others struggle? The answer is mindset. Don't Be Scared To Pay For Ads On Social Media

When you're using social media marketing to get the word out about your business, it's important to understand that using organic methods is the long haul.

But, there are ways to speed up the process. Sometimes the best way to get your word out is to pay for it. Paying doesn't mean you're succumbing; it means that you're smart. It's important not to be afraid of paying for ads, because it's a fast way to get more reach and make more conversions if you have the right content.

To run ads the right way, you need to be clear on a few options first. These include:

Learn the Platform

Before you post any ads, it's imperative that you understand how to use the platform properly for placing your advertisement and targeting your audience. Using it right will make a huge difference. Using it the wrong way will waste your money.

Hire Someone

If you don't know how to run an advertisement profitably, you may want to consider hiring an expert. Choose someone with a track record of success. If they do their job properly it should not cost you anything as their fee will be a small percentage of the extra profits you generate from your ads.

Know Your Target Audience

If you don't know who your target audience is, it's too soon for you to try to run paid ads. Fully understand exactly who your ideal customer is before you get started.

Ensure Your Content Is Perfected

Before running ads, you want to ensure that your content is otherwise perfected. Although you can run tests and continue to run tests even with imperfect content, try to get it close to perfect before using it for an advertisement.

Spend the Right Amount

You need an understanding of how much money you should spend on any given advertisement. Some platforms like Facebook are good at making suggestions. Start with a small budget and then scale up as you start to get the response you want.

Watch the Data

Once you do place an advertisement, you want to monitor the data to ensure that what you're doing is working. That way you can tweak it as you go.

It's important not to be afraid of paying for advertisements. It can make a huge difference in how fast you expand your reach and start making a profit, getting more email sign-ups, and building your audience.

The majority of business owners who use social media to advertise their business claim Facebook is the best, most productive advertising service on all social media networks. The good news is that you can run a Facebook ad campaign for as little as $5. How to Start a Business With No Money the Fast Track Way

Only just a few years ago if you had asked someone how to start a business with no money they would have told you to talk to the bank manager. That is fortunately not the case these days as you can easily get an enterprise off the ground and turning a profit in next to no time with no money. The Internet has made this possible as it has erased the need to have a physical premises from which to operate out of.

In fact you really don't need much at all to start an online business. You won't even need an office to work from and you won't need to worry about getting a logo designed for you or getting pens or photo-copier paper.

You can transfer all that stuff to the virtual world. So, learning how to start a business with no money means learning how the Internet works. And guess what? That is a minimal amount of information too, as the Web has come a long way even in the few short years that it has been in existence.

It used to be the case that the Internet was a technical place to get involved in. You had to know all the coding language and you had to know your way around the hardware and servers and all that stuff. That is not the case now as everything you could possibly need to run a business has been turned into push button interfaces.

It gets better as this stuff is all free. You don't have to pay a dime to get a commercial Internet presence. You can get a website for free and you can get all kinds of designs for free. You can get the tools you need to customize your site for nothing. You can even get a free e-commerce store front that will allow you to display your products and take all kinds of payments.

Contrast this with the thousands it takes to get an offline business off the ground and profitable. It takes something like an average of $12000 to get a new business started. Who has $12000 lying around? Not too many people I'll bet. So, if you don't have the money to get your business running you will have to go to the bank and ask for a loan. And that is a whole different ball game.

Getting a website up and running, getting some products displayed on it and the getting interested customers to come and look at what you have got. That is how to start a business with no money. There is no need to go through the stress and the strain of taking loans out and putting your house up as collateral. You don't need to risk your whole life savings to do this. Just pick from the many business models there are and get started. It is that simple.

The traditional route is not how to set up a business with no money [http://www.startabusinesstime.com/How-To-Start-A-Business-With-No-Money.html]. Even if you could get someone to just gift you the money remember that having an office or a shop requires a lot more weekly and monthly monetary input than just an Internet connection.

This is the fastest and most fun way to do it. The alternative is going massively into debt and risking the failure of everything you dream. Or you could simply do nothing at all and just dream of a better lifestyle. Best not to do that and get your hands on these free business plans [http://www.startabusinesstime.com] that can be started for nothing today.
